Pro Wrestling Moments

With the availability of UWF television shows from May 1986 pretty sparse, myself and Callum Barnes (@callumpbarnes) take a look back at what another company was producing television wise during this time period.

Listen along as we review a fantastically fun show including ALL OF THE ORIGINAL ADVERTS.

Callum Barnes (@callumpbarnes) is back to review the UWF television episode that aired on May 17th 1986.

This featured an angle setting up Bill Watts' latest comeback from retirement plus Michael Hayes, Ted Dibiase & the Sheepherders all in in ring action

Terry Canova (@coach_canova) is back to review the final stages of the Jim Crockett Senior Memorial Cup 1986, plus a North American title showdown between Jim Duggan & Dick Slater and a NWA World title match between Ric Flair & Dusty Rhodes.

Terry Canova (@coach_canova) joins me for a look back at the huge inter-promotional Superdome spectacular that took place 36 years ago today featuring :

The Fabulous Ones vs the Fantastics

Rick Steiner & Buzz Sawyer vs the Italian Stallion & Koko B Ware

Black Bart & Jim Garvin along with Precious vs Dave Peterson & Brett Sawyer

The Midnight Express (the reigning NWA World tag team champions) vs Nelson Royal & Sam Houston

Mark Youngblood & Wahoo McDaniel vs the Road Warriors

The Koloff's vs Jimmy Valiant & Manny Fernandez

The Sheepherders vs the Rock N Roll Express

plus Magnum TA teaming with Ronnie Garvin, Arn Anderson with Tully Blanchard, Giant Baba & Tiger Mask & much more.

There is an over 4 hour version of this two event card available on Peacock/WWE Network.

We are on the final road and countdown to the Crockett Cup with TWO television reviews this week including :

- A Joel Watts video on 'the Bladerunners' plus the future Sting & the Ultimate Warrior in action

- Jim Duggan vs Rick Steiner

- The Sheepherders defending the UWF tag titles vs the Fantastics

- The introduction of Jack Victory's girlfriend

AND much much more.

I'm joined by Mark Dunderdale (@dopper6), Stuart Roberts (@wakefieldcanary) & Dan Phillips (@danpffc) for a look back at the MOST STUPENDOUS TWO NIGHT WRESTLEMANIA IN HISTORY

Dan Phillips (@danpffc) is here to review the birth of the Universal Wrestling Federation.  We get a big press conference from Charlotte related to the forthcoming Crockett Cup (plus we pick who our top ten tag teams would be for such a tournament in 2022), Ted Dibiase & Steve Williams defend the tag team titles vs the Sheepherders & 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan challenges for the North American title.

Ben Spindler (@tinkholloway) is back to review the LAST EVER EPISODE OF MID SOUTH WRESTLING plus a whole load of great and obscure tangents along the way.

The show featured an update on the TV title situation, more on the Superdome tag team tournament plus in ring action Terry Taylor vs the future Rick Steiner, Jim Duggan, Ted Dibiase & 'Dr Death', Dick Slater & much much more.

Myself, Mark Dunderdale (@dopper6) & Stuart Roberts (@wakefieldcanary) look back over our trip to Toronto, two decades ago, with a special watchalong episode.
