  • Elixir Energy secures farm-out deals for Mongolian assets
Elixir Energy Ltd (ASX:EXR, OTC:ELXPF) managing director Neil Young talked with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the company's latest developments, including two significant farm-out agreements for its Mongolian natural gas and renewable energy assets.
Under this deal, a local partner will take a 51% stake and fund the projects through to a final investment decision (FID).
If FID is reached, Elixir Energy stands to receive up to US$30 million for the gas venture and up to US$6 million for renewables.
Young emphasised that the agreement allowed Elixir Energy to concentrate its resources on its Grandis Project in Queensland’s Taroom Trough, which has shown promising results.
He noted that the company had booked substantial discovered resources there, with ongoing activity from Elixir Energy and major industry players in the region.
Providing an update on the project, Young highlighted upcoming exploration activities, including work by neighbouring ASX-listed companies and energy giant Shell.
Elixir Energy is planning two wells in 2025 — one a shallow conventional well anticipated to be funded by a third party and the other a farm-in well with Santos set for late Q3.
Young stated that this strategic realignment strengthened Elixir Energy’s investment profile, allowing it to focus on its highest-value opportunities while retaining upside potential from its Mongolian ventures.

  • Just the Facts: Predictive Discovery fields high-grade gold hits at Bankan
Predictive Discovery Ltd has received broad high-grade gold intersections from drilling at the Bankan Gold Project in Guinea.
The results will support the company’s maiden mineral resource estimates for the Fouwagbe and Sounsoun targets.
At Fouwagbe, drilling returned key results including 0.85 metres at 31.56 g/t gold from 14.15 metres and 7.5 metres at 2.13 g/t from 102.5 metres.
At Sounsoun, intercepts included 17 metres at 1.76 g/t gold from 35 metres and 23 metres at 3.07 g/t from 77 metres, with the latter hole ending in mineralisation, indicating further potential at depth.
The company said that these targets at Argo continued to deliver positive resource definition results, extending known mineralisation and suggesting potential for additional gold-bearing zones.
Strong intercepts from an underexplored part of Sounsoun’s southwestern corridor have highlighted the potential for mineralisation extensions.
Predictive Discovery is continuing drilling in regional areas north of the NEB and BC deposits, which together host the project’s 5.38-million-ounce gold resource.
The company plans further drilling at these targets, as well as early exploration at Argo and the southern Bokoro permit, to advance its exploration pipeline.

  • Bravada Gold expands portfolio with East Walker acquisition, eyes partnerships for key projects
Bravada Gold CEO Joe Kizis joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share updates on the company’s ongoing exploration efforts in Nevada, focusing on its gold and silver projects: Wind Mountain, Highland, and the newly acquired East Walker property.
Kizis highlighted the strong economics of the Wind Mountain project, which has the potential to produce 40,000 to 50,000 ounces of gold annually. While the company continues advancing the project, it is actively seeking a joint venture partner to help bring Wind Mountain into production.
The Highland project, known for its geological similarities to Nevada’s renowned Midas deposit, has yielded “spectacular intercepts” from both surface sampling and drilling, underscoring its potential for high-grade gold mineralization.
Bravada’s latest acquisition, the East Walker project, is modeled after the Silicon Merlin discovery in Nevada’s Walker Lane, a region known for its rich mineral deposits. This strategic addition further strengthens Bravada’s portfolio in one of North America’s premier mining jurisdictions.
While Kizis acknowledged the current challenges in securing joint venture partnerships, he expressed optimism about the industry’s outlook, noting increased exploration activity as a positive sign. “There are people getting active. They think things are going to improve. And that's really good for our business model,” Kizis stated.
With a diversified portfolio and promising exploration results, Bravada Gold remains well-positioned to capitalize on Nevada’s rich mineral potential as market conditions improve.

The patent, which mirrors an earlier US patent, covers the composition of matter for the SIRT6 gene variant, a discovery made alongside the University of Colombia, Rochester University, and the Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
Leire explained that the SIRT6 variant was identified through research on a unique population of Jewish Ashkenazi centenarians, showing a mutation that boosts SIRT6 activity. Highlighting the gene's role in managing DNA damage and epigenomic changes, he noted, "We are in a safer position because we secure one of the very important competitive advantages over other longevity companies."
Genflow plans to apply this SIRT6 gene variant to age-related conditions such as Non-Alcoholic Steato Hepatitis (NASH), sarcopenia, and glaucoma, utilising gene therapy tools to precisely target affected areas. Beyond human applications, Leire mentioned an upcoming dog study focused on life extension and nerve cell preservation in ageing dogs, with an announcement expected soon.
As Genflow enters the national phase of patent preparation, Leire emphasised the process is largely bureaucratic with minimal risk. Stay tuned for updates as the company continues to advance its innovative longevity research.
