  • Terra Metals CEO discusses high strike rate at flagship Dante Project in Western Australia
Terra Metals Ltd managing director and CEO Thomas Line takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the company's ongoing exploration efforts in the West Musgrave region of Western Australia.
Line provided insights into Terra Metals Ltd's flagship Dante Project. Located near significant discoveries like the Nebo-Babel and Succoth deposits, the Dante Project is a magmatic copper, nickel, and PGE sulfide territory covering 650 square kilometres. Terra Metals has extended its drilling program from 4,000 meters to 10,000 meters, resulting in substantial discoveries at Reef-1 and Reef-2, which exhibit platreef-style mineralization with platinum, palladium, and gold.
Line shared that the drilling program has yielded promising results, with assays for 9.2 kilometres of drilling already received. These results indicate the presence of significant copper and PGE sulfide systems. Looking ahead, Terra Metals plans to mobilise multiple rigs for infill, extensional, and new discovery drilling at the Dante Reefs, emphasising the high potential and low risk of their exploration targets.
The geology of the Jameson layered intrusion, which dominates the Dante Project, is compared to the renowned Bushveld Complex in South Africa, underscoring the project's significance. Investors can look forward to a continuous flow of drilling results and the commencement of new drilling phases, promising an action-packed remainder of the year for Terra Metals.

Georgina Energy PLC CEO Anthony Hamilton joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with more on the company's prospects as it prepares for a mainboard listing on the London Stock Exchange, having recently raised an additional £5 million, reflecting strong institutional interest.
Hamilton highlighted Georgina Energy's focus on redeveloping existing wells in the Amadeus and Officer Basins, known for their helium and hydrogen production. He emphasised the de-risked nature of its exploration strategy, aiming to reenter wells drilled in the 1980s. “We are essentially focusing more on engineering rather than exploration,” he explained.
Discussing market dynamics, Hamilton pointed out the critical role of helium in various industries, such as MRI machinery and nuclear reactors, underscoring the global shortage and increased demand. He also detailed the company's plans for using the new funds, including reentering the Hussar well and executing an MoU with Harlequin Energy for gas storage and transportation.
Hamilton assured that Georgina Energy is committed to progressing its projects and delivering news flow leading up to the December drilling at Hussar. The company’s innovative approach and strategic partnerships position it to meet the growing helium demand effectively.
The company is targeting 30 July for the listing under the ticker 'GEX.'

  • CleanTech Lithium’s DLE pilot success: completes first stage of production
CleanTech Lithium PLC executive chairman Dr Steve Kesler speaks to Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the latest achievements in the company's Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot plant.
CleanTech Lithium has completed the first stage of production from its DLE pilot plant, along with successful downstream process test work. Kesler highlights the comprehensive results that demonstrate the efficiency and consistency of the DLE process on its brine at Laguna Verde.
"We've shown that we're getting 95% recovery of lithium from the brine in the adsorption stage of the DLE and an overall recovery of 88% after the elution stage," said Kesler. This efficiency significantly outperforms conventional evaporation ponds, which have recovery rates of 40-45%.
The DLE process also exhibits excellent selectivity, rejecting over 99% of major impurities such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. This ensures a clean, concentrated eluate of lithium chloride, which is then shipped for downstream processing in Chicago. Initial tests confirm that the process can produce battery-grade lithium carbonate with a purity of 99.5%.
Kesler emphasised the importance of this milestone, as it allows CleanTech Lithium to introduce sustainable, green lithium to potential off-takers and strategic investors. The company’s lithium production uses renewable energy, resulting in a low carbon footprint and minimal water consumption, aligning with the sustainability goals of Europe and the United States.

  • European Green Transition announces encouraging results from Limni project, including gold potential
European Green Transition PLC (AIM:EGT) CEO Aiden Lavelle takes Proactive's Stephen Gunnion through the latest developments at the Limni copper project in Cyprus.
Lavelle announced promising results from the initial due diligence phase of the project. The company collected 68 samples, revealing acid-soluble copper concentrations between 0.4% and 0.9%. This discovery indicates that the mine waters are leaching copper from oxidised tailings and re-precipitating it during the dry season, confirming the potential for copper recovery.
Additionally, the company identified significant gold potential, with rock samples showing grades up to 1.5 grams per ton. Lavelle highlighted that this gold had likely gone unnoticed during the original mining operations in the 1960s and 70s.
These findings bolster the company’s confidence to proceed with further due diligence and low-cost sampling to validate the copper recovery model. Lavelle emphasised that Cyprus provides a cost-effective environment for advancing the project towards potential near-term revenue generation.
