Copper Lake Resources CEO Terry MacDonald joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the results generated from the recently completed winter diamond drilling program on its Marshall Lake copper-zinc-silver VMS property in Northwestern Ontario. The company focused its drilling efforts on two new target areas, including a prominent magnetotelluric conductor situated proximal to and below high-grade copper-zinc-silver mineralization known as the Conductive Centre. The second new drill target comprised an EM conductor located 2 km to the east of the Billiton deposit.

MacDonald told Proactive that drilling to date has defined a conductive centre of potentially economic size, associated with multiple high-grade copper-zinc-silver intersections at reasonable depths. Establishing continuity within this target area requires further drilling to confirm the extent and grade of the mineralization. Although the company did not encounter massive sulphides in hole MAR-24-02, the strong to very strong alteration observed is indicative of proximity to massive sulphide deposits. These drilling results have provided the company with valuable information to zero in on what it believes to be an ore-grade VMS deposit.

MacDonald also highlighted that the drilling continues to indicate a robust hydrothermal system capable of producing a significant VMS deposit. Follow-up drilling to define the continuity of previously encountered high-grade mineralization in the conductive centre is clearly warranted. The company's exploration efforts are aimed at confirming the size and grade of the mineralization, which could potentially lead to the development of a significant mining operation.

Copper Lake Resources remains committed to advancing the Marshall Lake project and is encouraged by the positive results from the winter drilling program. The identification of new target areas and the confirmation of high-grade mineralization at reasonable depths are key steps in the company's exploration strategy. The next phase of drilling will focus on further delineating the conductive centre and testing additional targets identified through geophysical surveys.

The results cover all 12 holes drilled in April at the Mafic Sweats South, Mafic Sweats North, Raven and Yarraman prospects. At the latter prospect, about 79 metres of low-grade copper-gold mineralisation point to a fertile faulted contact zone which warrants further exploration.

Meanwhile, over at Mafic Sweats South, shallow copper-gold mineralisation has extended to a strike length of around 285 metres and a depth of 200 metres. Drilling intersected disseminated copper sulphides beneath an extensive copper oxide zone.

What’s more, the company reported all three drill holes at Mafic Sweats South ended in anomalous copper, suggesting a large shallow copper-gold system open along strike and down dip, centred around a regional faulted contact between the Argylla and Magna Lynn Formations.

Work also continues at Cooper’s Gooroo copper-gold project, just a stone’s throw from Silver Lakes Deflector mine in WA. Warland says fieldwork continues across the precious and base metal property and encourages investors to continue watching this space.

This represents a substantial market opportunity for Genetic Technologies' geneType platform, as approximately one in eight women in the US will develop breast cancer, equating to around 310,000 annual cases.

Ovarian cancer, although less common, results in 19,600 diagnosed cases and 12,700 deaths annually in the US.

This fault has been mapped for over 8 kilometers to the northwest and 3 kilometers to the southeast, indicating significant potential for resource growth.

The drilling program aims to better define the mineralization within the Gap Zone and to explore the continuity and extent of the gold-bearing structures. The Stealth Fault's geological characteristics suggest it is a major control on gold mineralization in the area, making it a prime target for further exploration.

Gold Basin Resources is also working towards the Project’s maiden NI 43-101 oxide gold resource estimate, which is expected to be released later this year. This resource estimate will be a significant milestone for the company, providing a clearer picture of the project's potential and laying the groundwork for future development plans.

Current beneficiation work includes testing methods to separate and further concentrate zirconium using gravity separation and the magnetic removal of paramagnetic minerals to upgrade the material. These processes aim to maximize the economic potential of zircon as a co-product, enhancing the overall economics of the Halleck Creek project.

The exploration and development efforts at Halleck Creek are focused on realizing the full potential of the site. The identification and extraction of zirconium alongside REEs could generate significant additional revenue for the project.
