  • AFC Energy achieves 'significant milestone' with 200kW H-Power Generator
AFC Energy PLC (AIM:AFC, OTC:AFGYF)CEO Adam Bond speaks with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest milestone: the delivery of its highest power-rated 200kW power generator.
Bond described this achievement as a landmark in AFC Energy's journey to displace diesel generators with their innovative fuel cell technology.
"We've designed a new technology, our S+ series, and that's basically to take us from 100kW all the way through to 500kW," said Bond.
The new 200kW generator is poised to open new markets, including EV charging, marine applications, and critical infrastructure backup such as data centres.
Bond emphasised the importance of this development, stating, "This technology did not exist two years ago. We've now delivered AFC's largest power generator in the high power class to date."
Bond also highlighted the company’s partnership with ABB in mobility and the potential for scalability, "Two 500kW generators would give you a megawatt, and you can scale up from that sort of level."
While the immediate market may not require generators larger than 500kW, the company is prepared for future growth as the availability and affordability of hydrogen improve.
Looking ahead, AFC Energy is focused on ensuring efficient hydrogen consumption and lowering the total cost of ownership for its generators. The company is also working through the certification process for this new technology, aiming to complete it within six months.

HANetf co-founder and co-CEO Hector McNeil talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the significant growth and trends in active ETFs.
McNeil explained that the rise of active strategies is a natural evolution following the success of passive investment trackers and smart beta thematic ETFs. He highlighted the convenience of buying ETFs through online platforms and the influence of the US market, where 75% of new ETFs are active.
McNeil mentioned that HANetf is receiving increasing inquiries about active ETFs, reflecting a broader trend in Europe. Growth in the ETF market is expected to increase exponentially, with assets expected to rise from $11 trillion to $30 trillion globally within the next five years.

  • Copper Lake Resources announces plans for summer exploration plans at Marshall lake Property
Copper Lake Resources CEO Terry MacDonald joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share insights into the company's upcoming summer exploration program at their Marshall Lake copper-zinc-silver property in Northwestern Ontario. This property boasts several zones with significant historical copper-zinc-silver intercepts identified through diamond drilling. Key areas of interest include the Teck Hill-Gazooma and Gazooma North-RM-Lease target areas.
MacDonald explained that the zones targeted for exploration this summer are accessible year-round, providing the company with the opportunity to leverage the latest geophysical techniques in these areas. This accessibility allows for continuous exploration activities, enhancing the potential for significant discoveries. The company's exploration strategy is built on the premise that Marshall Lake could evolve into a Noranda-style Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) camp with multiple deposits. A key component of this plan involves the continued exploration of the Conductive Centre at the Billiton zone, contingent on favorable weather conditions.
To further their exploration efforts, MacDonald highlighted the use of Large-Loop Electromagnetic geophysical surveys as a cost-effective method to explore deeper geological formations. These surveys are designed to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the area's geology and to identify deep-seated conductors. Such conductors are potential drill targets that could reveal extensions of the high-grade historical drilling intercepts, thereby expanding the mineralized zones. The geophysical surveys are scheduled for this summer, with subsequent drilling of selected targets based on the survey results.
Additionally, Copper Lake Resources has announced plans to complete a non-brokered private placement financing, aiming to raise up to $2.5 million in gross proceeds. This financing is intended to support the company's exploration activities and further its development goals. The funds raised will be crucial in facilitating the advanced geophysical surveys and the drilling of promising targets, driving the company's exploration program forward.

  • FireFly Metals extends Green Bay copper-gold mineralisation 460 metres beyond resource
FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM) managing director Steve Parsons sits down with Proactive’s Meagan Evans to discuss recent assays from the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Canada, which showed high-grade mineralisation extending 460 metres beyond the current resource boundary. The company aims to expand the current resource, which is 39.2 million tonnes at 2.1% copper for 811,000 tonnes of copper equivalent.
Two additional rigs are being sent to the project to support the accelerated resource growth and in-mine exploration. Parsons highlighted the exceptional step-out drilling results and the potential for substantial resource growth. With an aim to unlock the wider project area's value FireFly will also initiate regional geophysical surveys to identify similar targets.
The Green Bay mineralisation features two distinct forms - high-grade VMS copper-gold and large-scale FWZ mineralisation. Recent VMS results include 26 metres at 8.2% copper equivalent while FWZ results include 55 metres at 1.8% copper equivalent. The results confirm continuous mineralisation between the current resource and the 460-metre step-out hole.
FireFly is fully funded for its growth strategy, having raised $52 million through an equity raising in March. Today’s news sent FireFly shares up to 17.27% higher to A$0.815 for a market cap of around A$381.70 million.

Infinity Lithium Corporation Ltd (ASX:ING) general manager – Corporate Affairs Justin Samulski joins Proactive’s Meagan Evans to discuss the significant endorsement received for its San José Lithium Project in Spain. The Regional Government of Extremadura has granted the project PREMIA status (Proyecto Empresarial de Interés Autonómico), recognising it as strategically important to the region. This designation means that the assessment of the project’s Exploitation Concession Application (ECA) will be prioritised and expedited by regional government departments.
The PREMIA status highlights the project's strategic importance for both Extremadura and the European Union. It will fast-track the permitting process, which is advantageous for the project's development. The PREMIA status was announced by Abel Bautista, Minister of Presidency, Regional Affairs and Social Dialogue, who emphasised the significant impact of such projects on employment and regional productivity.
