Probing Ancient Aliens

We dive into the first two episodes of a brand new Gaia-exclusive series all about crystals! Being that crystals are the core symbol of the "new age" movement, we thought this series was a cool idea - but how much is actual scientifically researched fact, and how much is porn doctors trying to sell you on precious stones that don't work as described?

[Joey has a huge assignment due this week for school, so we couldn't record a new ep of Probing Gaia last night, unfortunately, but this is a great ep from our Patreon that we hope you'll enjoy in the meantime!]

More like ASS-more estates amirite?! This is actually a solid episode with tons of good EVPs in it, plus, we begin to get the more "refined" approach from Zak and the crew as the show's budget has clearly increased with its popularity. There's also a dickhead wannabe steampunk prick who runs the place and is mega annoying. Enjoy!

This week, we’re absolutely droolin’ for DICK…Philip K. Dick that is! We’re double-dipping on Anthony Peake because he’s just that interesting. His Cheating the Ferryman theory and Daemon / Eidolon Dyad hypothesis have become an obsession here in the Probing world, but this episode of “OpenMinds” (bad name) is interviewing Peake about the award-winning sci-fi author of Blade Runner, Minority Report, and The Man in the High Castle (to name a few), whom he has written his own book about (that Joey is currently reading). Basically, he thinks Dick is a perfect example of his CTF theory and Daemon / Eidolon dyad. Because Dick was such a prolific writer, Peake has a billion factoids and nuggets to put together a pretty compelling case that Dick actually was a pre-cognitive individual due to having a Daemon in the form of VALIS…even to the point of seeing his own death.

We go deep into the PEAKE of the current space of philosophic thought - Anthony Peake, that is! This 2014 appearance on a strange Gaia show hosted by a French woman named Lilou is a great introduction to the wide-ranging “Cheating the Ferryman” philosophy that Peake has created (and heavily iterated upon) and shared with us during his lecture and workshop that we attended at Contact in the Desert. Joey has read three of his books since Contact, as well - it’s just that fascinating. Peake is for “the nature of consciousness and reality” what Hellier was for “the paranormal” to us: paradigm-shifting. This one gets real heady and out there, but we’re really interested in his stuff and we hope you are too after you listen to this! Enjoy!

Here’s a recent 2023 lecture that Anthony gave for his Cheating the Ferryman book release that will also do a great job at giving you an overview if you don’t want to pay for a Gaia membership:

WE RETURN…to Contact in the Desert, live and in person! It’s been four long years since our virginal trip to Indian Wells for our first CITD, and this consciousness convention came back with a vengeance! The panels were more interesting, the ancient astronaut theorists were virtually nowhere to be found (and that’s a good thing!), and the dance parties were as awkward as ever. This episode is a chonky boy for sure, enjoy!

The boys head to...to-well-o? ...t-t-talulla? ...tool...tool...tool-ele? A small town in Utah with a former poor house turned hospital, turned half retirement home, half horror maze attraction. We also discuss the controversial video released last week by Nick Groff, where he "tells all" to his Twitter followers and claims that working on Ghost Adventures was a hostile work environment due to "one particular host" and that the same person has been blocking him from getting new shows on the Travel Channel and any affiliated networks since 2014.

A big ol’ Childress Chime-in this week! Our most beloved Ancient Alien boy is featured on an episode of the Gaia show “Great Minds,” and discusses a pet-theory that the mysterious Cham people are responsible for all modern culture and even megalithic keystone technology in the southern hemisphere. Does he contradict himself a whole heck of a lot? He sure does…but you’ll have to listen to find out exactly when! Enjoy!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen ol’ “Five Heads at Freddy’s,” and we even get into the real story behind why he seemingly imploded in 2018 from his two biggest platforms (Gaia and Ancient Aliens). Hint: he thought Gaia was full of satan-worshippers and that Ancient Aliens supported pedophiles. This Q and A from his long running, 250+ episode show, ‘Wisdom Teachings” features four women “asking” David questions that he likely wrote himself, for himself. His anxiety-ridden antics are on full display here, and we get a rare glimpse at pre-plastic surgery David. Enjoy!

The Gaia network's very own "pseudo-Tsoukalos" is a geologist-turned-spiritualist, Gregg Braden. He's got the big hair, and talks a big game about the merging of science and spiritulality. This presentation from 2020's Conscious Life Expo goes over his premise that the human being is the most advanced technology there is...we've just forgotten the ancient methods of harnessing this "soft tech," as he calls it.

NEXT EPISODE:

We dive head first into what, at first glance, seems like an Ancient Aliens clone on Gaia - but as we watched, we realized that this is the show that Ancient Aliens secretly wishes it could be, but is shackled by the need to constantly prove the ancient astronaut theory. This episode covers one of Joey’s burgeoning favorite subjects, Gnosticism, and relates it to early Christianity, the Sumerian religion, and even down to Egyptian spirituality, with a little taste of Billy Carson attempting to illustrate how we are still living in a holographic universe, and how “it’s not just him saying this, but lots of scientists.” Sure, Billy…sure.
