Our review of Season 18, Episode 2 of History’s Ancient Aliens is one for the books - like a classic episode but with a fresh coat of 4K paint, much of the info about where was seen all the way back in season one, but they throw a few curveballs in that make it mostly worthwhile. Still, it would be nice if they did, y’know, some new research or god forbid, fund some themselves and report back. But then they wouldn’t be Ancient Astronaut Theorists, now would they?

Intriguing…but kinda boring…is the name of the game when it comes to The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, for better or for worse. Is it always worth a watch? Yes. Is it always worth watching the first 30 minutes of the episode before the inevitable strange occurrence happens? No. But we love Travis and his motley crew just the same, and love and respect them for their effort to scientifically explain the world of high strangeness. Plus they’re cutie patooties!

Is the show itself actually being fucked with by Skinwalker Ranch? Because every single episode promises a lot but provides very little at the end of the day. Definitely some cool confirmations here, but ultimately nothing “new” since the previous episode. Plus, this episode is the first that CLEARLY exaggerates and fakes an occurrence, and it’s disheartening to say the least.
