“All We, Like Sheep"
Today is "Good Shepherd Sunday" and in this sermon Postulant Jillian Ruch explores the messages found in John, chapter 10, verses 11-18, by asking three questions: 1) Why are we humans always being likened to sheep in the Bible, in the Old and New Testaments? 2) What can we learn about Jesus when He tells us that He is the Good Shepherd and will be the Shepherd of one flock? and 3) How does this help us to understand our relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as we move through our days here on earth?
Our Good Shepherd will never leave our side, and we, like sheep, need our Good Shepherd to live.

Shelley’s sermon for today celebrates the glory of the resurrection by looking closely at the story of Mary Magdalene, who is reluctant to leave the tomb of Jesus.
