It is amazing that so-called intelligent people do not believe in God. God has written his signature on everything that he created from the spectacular infinite universe to our very bodies. God’s name is on our eyes and brains through which we see and understand everything. Nonbelievers conclude that everything we perceive, including ourselves, simply created itself out of a big bang that apparently caused itself, came all of the order that we see on earth and in the universe. Well, God has given us indisputable proof of his existence, his invisible qualities, eternal power and divine nature. Listen in as we discuss Romans 1:18-23.
In this special Good Friday episode, we reflect on the love of Jesus as he suffered in our place. The weight of our sin placed him there. It should have been us, you and me, on the cross at Calvary! We sinned. We were guilty. We were condemned to death. But our Lord and Savior came forward, took on our shame, suffered and died in our place. Oh, the sins we committed for which he died! But when he rose on Sunday morning, our guilt and our shame and our sins were washed away! Thank you, Jesus!
What must we do when our prayers go unanswered? No child of God expects him to grant our every prayer. In his holy wisdom, he knows what is best for us. But what do we do to receive answers to our unanswered prayers? Our prayer life depends upon our faith, but how much faith must we have? This podcast will equip and encourage believers who are seeking God’s power in their lives. We answer those questions in this podcast.
In this powerful episode we discuss the overwhelming love that Jesus has for us, even in our most broken and unworthy moments. Jesus died for us regardless of our past. That is amazing love! John 3:16 reminds us that God’s love is so great that he gave his Son to save us even though we were sinners. Regardless of who you are and what you have done, Jesus still loves you.
In this episode we explain the profound connection between forgiveness, obedience, and answered prayer. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. When we do this we reflect God’s own mercy. Our own forgiveness from God is tied to our willingness to forgive others. The parable of the unforgiving servant warns us about the consequences of holding onto unforgiveness. When we walk in obedience, forgive, and strive to love our enemies God will hear and answer our prayers.
No matter what happens in our lives, we must always remember that God is in control. The good things, the bad things, whatever occurs - God is still in control. We must trust him and seek his presence and guidance. He will bring us peace in all situations. This he has promised, and God keeps his promises! We need not have any fears or worries. We serve a loving God who has already lovingly written the end of our story here, which is the beginning of our eternal life with him.
In Psalm 90:12, we ask God to teach us to number our days as this will give us wisdom. Most of us have performance plans on our jobs. Those are the goals that we must accomplish for our annual evaluations. What performance plan have we set for ourselves for the day when we will be evaluated by Jesus? We all know that we cannot say how much time we have, so we should be very intentional about doing what Jesus calls for us to do. What are your goals? Join us as we seek to deepen our relationship with Jesus and make our walk more purposeful.
Each of us must learn how to seek and listen to the voice of the indwelling Spirit to assist us in our daily lives. God said at Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jesus told us at John 14:15-17 that he was going to send the Holy Spirit who will guide us into all truth. This episode will teach you how to tune your heart to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. The result will be a deeper and closer relationship with God through prayer, scripture, and obedience to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Join us as we discuss the beauty of living a Spirit-led life!
