She has written under her own name and collaborated on multiple books for celebrities - five of which made the New York Times best seller list. Now in her memoir Ghosted, she has emerged from behind the scenes to tell the story of losing her political allies, feeling spiritually adrift and politically confused, and becoming unemployable after she was unwilling to endorse an unsuitable president.

Nancy lives in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband – journalist David French – and family.
