  • Prog-Watch Special - 101 Dimensions (October)
My once-a-month curatorship of a new Progzilla.com show called 101 Dimensions begins! This show features progressive electronic and ambient music and no talking. In keeping with the season, I have programmed a journey that begins as a joy ride, but later takes a decidedly...darker turn. For those of you who would like to track the progress of our journey, I give you the “road map” below.

(PS. I cannot be held responsible for the occasional nightmare, should anyone happen to fall asleep while listening to any of the later tracks with headphones.)

    Enjoy!

    Your “road map”:

    1. Kraftwerk – Autobahn (from the album Autobahn, 1974)
    2. Michael Stearns – Craft: Dimensional Release (from the album Encounter, 1988)
    3. Flower Kings - Retropolis By Night (from the album Retropolis, 1996)
    4. Ash Ra Tempel – Traummaschine (from the album Ash Ra Tempel, 1971)
    5. Michael Stearns – Dimensional Shift: Across The Threshold (from the album Encounter, 1988)
    6. Johannes Schmoelling - Wuivend Riet, Part II (from the album Wuivend Riet, 1986)
    7. Tangerine Dream – Zeit (from the album Zeit, 1972)
    8. Klaus Schulze – Velvet Voyage (from the album Mirage, 1977)

  • Prog-Watch 236 - John Wetton -- Proghopper
This week we have a new feature (which will recur every once in a while) called "Proghopper".
