  • Prog-Watch 222 - The Tea Club & Moon Safari
This week we have the Son Of Prog-Squatch, Paul Rowsick, in the guest host seat for a look at a band he and Dad talked about way back on the third ever episode of Prog-Watch---Moon Safari! This time the guys dig a little deeper into one of the band's finest albums, the double disc entitled “Bloomjud”. But first, they play some music from an interesting American group called the Tea Club, who have three albums to their name and a fourth soon on the way.

  • Prog-Watch 218 - IO Earth & Steve Hackett
Dave is back this week for a look at two really great Prog acts! First up is the unique Prog stylings of IO Earth, a UK project headed by Dave Cureton and Adam Gough, who handle much of the composing and instrumental chores. They have a wide variety of influences and weave them together in a sophisticated and compelling manner which can only be called “Prog”! In the second half of the show, the guys go back for more of the great Steve Hackett! Don't miss it...because as Dave may have said “It's Steve Hackett!”

  • Prog-Watch 217 - Variety Show #4
This week's episode is another great Variety Show! This time we revisit Ian Boddy (in collaboration with Markus Reuter), IQ, Knight Area, and Philhelmon! On the Watch List we also have a great band out of Sweden called Miosis, who are putting the finishing touches on their second album but still looking for a record company to release it! They have some good stuff, so if you know any record company execs, maybe you can put in a good word for them! (Seriously, they are quite good, and hopefully someone out there can help!)

  • Prog-Watch 216 - Shadow Circus & Jon Anderson
In the first part of this show, Tony and Dave take a look at U.S. band Shadow Circus! Guitarist and keyboardist John Fontana and vocalist David Bobick front this group which is sure to appeal to fans of traditional, Symphonic Prog and Heavy Prog! John also provided answers to the standard Prog-Watch questions, so you can get a little insight into the creative processes that lead to the music of Shadow Circus. In the second half of the show, the guys begin coverage on another Prog legend, Jon Anderson! Jon is, of course, the classic voice of Yes, and has more than 20 solo albums to his name! On this show the guys cover his first two albums---the epic “Olias Of Sunhillow” and his second “Song Of Seven”. Obviously, more of Jon will follow!

  • Prog-Watch 215 - Variety Show #3
Join the Squatch for the third great variety show this season (and yes, the Squatch is going solo this time, as Dave's personal life is a little busy right now). But with no one to gab to, the big guy actually keeps the talk to a minimum and plays more music! The great artists represented in this episode include Ayreon, Comedy Of Errors, Dave Kerzner, Sky Architect, and White Willow! There's also a Watch List entry from a great Brazilian artist by the name of Eduardo Aguillar!

  • Prog-Watch 214 - Oblivion Sun & The Flower Kings
In the first part of this episode the guys look at Oblivion Sun, a group which arose from the ashes of the legendary Happy The Man. (Happy The Man was, of course, at more than one point in their career being considered as a backing band by none other than Peter Gabriel, so how's that for a recommendation?!?!) With two original Happy The Man alums, Oblivion Sun naturally plays a jazzy, interesting, eclectic brand of Prog like their predecessor. In part two of this great episode, the guys embark on coverage of one of the greatest Prog acts to come out in the last 20 or 30 years---the mighty Flower Kings of Sweden! We will not waste any more words telling you how great these guys are. Just tune in an you will find out!

The second variety show! The guys (try to) talk less and play more music! On this episode: District 97 with John Wetton, Karmakanic, The D Project, and Black Bonzo! Plus, the Squatch sneaks in one from his own project Novus (call it a Watch List submission)!
