  • The Environmental Justice Report with Jeanine Molloff
St. James Parish, Louisiana is also known as 'Cancer Alley.' The abnormally epidemic rate of cancer  along this region coincides with massive industrial pollution. There has been zero accountability for the public regarding this situation. The fact that St. James Parish is dominantly a community of color is no small coincidence. Once again, we witness another instance of environmental racism. Not only are the residents being poisoned by proven carcinogens--but they have been threatened with criminal prosecution at the felony level--for what are minor misdemeanors at best.
The foreign owned corporations that are repeatedly permitted license to poison--are also the result of a legal contrivance created by the multi-national trade agreement industry--namely ISDS. ISDS is an arbitration court that has been granted the power to set aside any local, state or federal laws that is desires. Tune in to this new episode in our "Environmental Racism' series--titled Cancer Alley.

  • The Environmental Justice Report with Jeanine Molloff
The Kingsbay Plowshares 7 were a group of coscientious objectors protesting the US Navy's ongoing use of nuclear weapons of mass destruction. 7 peace activists were convicted of bogus felonies for spray painting a sidewalk among other things. These convictions are the result of the further illegitimate criminaiization of what should be protected 1st Amendment activity.

  • The Environmental Justice Report with Jeanine Molloff
This week, the Environmental Justice Report will discuss the intersectional nature between racism and environmental injustice. It is established fact that environmental disasters negatively impact communities of color far more than white communities. It is no small coincidence that environmental activists are being targeted almost as viciously as Black Lives Matter activists.

  • The Environmental Justice Report with Jeanine Molloff
This week on EJR, I will discuss how the convergence of police, federal fusion centers, and private 'security' firms hired by corporate polluters works overtime not only to illegitimately harass journalists daring to report truthfully about corporate polluters--but has succeeded in classifying journalists as alleged 'environmental terrorists.' Such abuse of the law has been allowed to flourish with the blessings of both the GOP and the Democrats.

  • The Environmental Justice Report with Jeanine Molloff
Last week, we discussed how environmental attorney Steven Donziger fought Chevron in a lawsuit that demanded damages paid to the indigenous peoples of the area. Donziger fought for almost three decades and eventually won the lawsuit, but Chevron would not accept responsiblity. Chevron's attorneys then went after Donziger, knowing that these indigenous natives had no money or power to pursue this case without a top attorney. Donziger was disbarred on bogus charges and may face some jail time. Meanwhile, the area where these people live remains an environmental nightmare.
Tonight, we will discuss the damage done to these people, first by Texaco--and then Chevron after they purchased Texaco and their liabilities. This is the Chernobyl of the Amazon.

  • Can an Executive Order result in martial law? and other stuff
Brook Hines, Jeanine Molloff and Rick Spisak with progressive news & analysis.
Rick Spisak chats with Libbe HaLevy of Nuclear HotSeat.
The Justice Report this week on executive orders with no foundation in Constitution, called PEADs. These are used to declare martial law and certain emergencies. In theory Trump could use a PEAD to cancel elections and jail opponents. Jeanine Molloff digs into this problematic situation.
