  • TARABUSTER – EP.43 – TOPIC: Will Dems EVER Win Elections Before GOP Kills Us All?
Democrats took to the floor of the Senate to share their constituents’ heart-wrenching healthcare stories, as if Republicans will suddenly have a change of heart.
The fact is, Republicans don’t care.
But with corporate Dems in control of the party, will Dems ever win before Republicans kill us all?

  • Karel Cast Fr Jun 23 Thank God, Indeed
Let’s be real, you or someone you know has wished ill will upon Trump, Pence or all of them. Meteor strike. Errant Blood Clot. Sudden sink hole. But as they continue to do really evil and mean, by his own words, things to health care and beyond, negative sentiment will rise. So is Johnny Depp just another person voicing what so many have to say? AND, what does it say about you or me if we really do wish ill will? Lots, and I for one would leave a country before I really, in my heart, wanted someone to disappear. I want them arrested, tried for their crimes, and punished, whatever that may be. But you and I might be in the minority there when passions are this high. Plus BUY MY SONG! NOW!

Leslie is joined by Maura Calsyn, Managing Director of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress.

They also discuss the relative unpopularity of the bill as it's currently constructed according to a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, and take some great listener comments and questions on the topic from all sides of the political spectrum.
You can read a more detailed critique of the recent healthcare bill reports from a progressive perspective at AmericanProgress.org. Follow the Center For American Progress @amprog.
