Conversations with Karel on Your Part in the USPS and How to Succeed is probably one of the best ways to start the week; with answers. For instance, when's the last time you actually supported the USPS; and not just with taxes?

You see, the postal service has always been there, and in this impersonal world, you've chosen mostly to ignore it. It is not your connection to government or corporations; it is your connection to each other. It being so fragile and struggling is a metaphor for how strained our person to person relationships are becoming every day. We don't connect, we certainly don't write letters, send cards.

And in the era of Amazon, we have made UPS and Fedex billions, but where are they now? Have they offered to help in this crisis? Nope. Take our money, destroy our version of them and then walk.

And that's what I'll never understand: we own a medical insurance company, Medicare, but we pay others and don't get the money; and we own a shipping company, we own it, but we use others and make them billions. That makes no sense
