Another week in the United States of Serfs and Lords.

Republicans are threatening another civil war if their treasonous standard bearer is held accountable for his crimes against the United States.

Democrats use Republican talking points to go after Medicare for All.

Republicans are horrible people. Tara has examples.

Comedians Rhonda Hansome and Poppy Champlin join Tara in the second hour.

We'll discuss another week of madness.

DESCRIPTION: On the #RADIO show this week we cover all the many GOOD things that could be done with the funds Trump wants to use for his ridiculous wall; we talk about Breast Cancer Awareness month and how women’s healthcare is under attack; we get fired up for change and learn about the impeachment proceedings; and we dive into modern communications and what you can do.

*Special guests include Donna Norton, MomsRising, @MomsRising; Jacqueline Ayers, Planned Parenthood, @PPAct @PPFA; Reggie Hubbard, MoveOn, @MoveOn; and Justina Chen, award-winning author.

Many Americans were outraged about Attorney General William Barr’s partisan, sectarian speech at Notre Dame Law School. Now a progressive Christian group has filed an ethics complaint over the matter. I’ll talk with Faithful America Director of Campaigns, the Rev. Nathan Empsall.

Also, the “border church” and “border mosque” team up for a binational, multifaith “Pray Beyond Borders.” Organizer Rev. John Fanestil will bring us the details.

And a cult expert says Trump opponents who use the language of “brainwashing” are wrong. We’ll get some eye-opening thoughts from Professor Benjamin Zeller.

I talk with EMMANUEL SAEZ, UC Berkeley economist, about his newest book, THE TRIUMPH OF INJUSTICE: How the Rich Dodge Taxes and How to Make Them Pay - co-authored with Gabriel Zucman. Their book reports that in 2018, for the first time in history, America's richest billionaires paid a lower effective tax rate than the working class. Their solutions include a wealth tax, and they've advised Elizabeth Warren on her proposal.
