Karel starts by looking at the news and deciding, we need to look more towards this. And then Bershan Shaw on Buckling Up with Bershan (UBN) and Phil Chung, co-creator of Family Style on Stage13 Warner Bros about food's relation to Asian culture and their new show.

Today's guest hosts are Charlotte Hancock, Communications Director for Generation Progress, and Brent Cohen, Executive Director of Generation Progress and the VP of the Center for American Progress.

They discuss two different topics during today's show.

The first topic is a new report highlighting lessons from Oakland's citywide effort that resulted in an amazing 50% reduction in gun violence. David Muhammad joined Charlotte and Brent to discuss the subject. He is Executive Director of the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform.

The institute's website is www.nicjr.org and their Twitter handle is @NICJR01. David's handle is @DavidMuhammad.

The second topic is today's press conference by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, where (through some double negatives and thinly coded language) he said that the only reason that he did not charge President Trump with obstruction of justice is because of the DOJ's policy of not charging sitting Presidents. Mueller also said that "the constitution requires a process outside of the Justice Department" to deal with Trump (AKA impeachment).

To discuss this topic Charlotte and Brent are joined by their colleague James Lamond. James is Managing Director of 'The Moscow Project' and a Senior Policy Advisor at the Center for American Progress. 'The Moscow Project' is an initiative of the Center for American Progress Action Fund dedicated to analyzing the facts behind Trump’s collusion with Russia and communicating the findings to the public. James's Twitter handle is @jdlamond.

'The Moscow Project' also has a new podcast revealing Trump's extensive history with Russia. It's called 'The Asset' and you can find it at www.TheAssetPodcast.org or on iTunes.

Charlotte Hancock's Twitter handle is @CharlatAnne and Brent Cohen's handle is @BrentJCohen.

The website for "The Center for American Progress" is www.AmericanProgress.org and their Twitter Handle is @amprog.
