Today I interview my Executive Producer of 13 years, 'Marky Mark' Grimaldi.

For the past six years I have helped Mark promote a cause that is near and dear to his heart, the fight against Cancer.

Mark lost his Mom, Sylvia Grimaldi, to Breast Cancer back in 2000 when he was 17 years old. Also, his Dad, Mark Grimaldi Sr., is in a courageous six-year battle with Prostate Cancer. Mark's Dad has had a Prostatectomy, 37 radiation treatments, and is now receiving androgen deprivation therapy to keep the Cancer at bay after a recurrence of the disease this past year. He is thankfully responding well to the therapy, which he will complete this coming August.

In honor of his Mom and Dad's fight, Marky Mark is 'Goin’ Bald for Bucks' on February 19th for the sixth straight year to help in the fight against cancer! During the past six years, Mark has raised over $11,000 to fight Cancer!

He will be shaving his head to raise critically needed funds for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate, innovative patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The money that he raises will help researchers and physicians better understand the causes of cancer and discover new methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

One out of three Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Most of us know someone that has successfully battled cancer. Many also know someone who has had their life taken by it.
