Maggie is joined by two guests as they discuss two new cases of major voter suppression ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.

The first instance occurs in Florida, where current Republican Governor Rick Scott, who is running for Senate, has refused to extend the voter registration deadline despite Hurricane Michael bearing down on the state. This will make it much harder to vote for those who might want to hold Governor Scott accountable for his handling of Hurricane Michael, and would potentially sway his Senate race.

The panel also discusses yesterday's ruling by the Supreme Court regarding a restrictive voter ID law in North Dakota. The court's upholding of the law will disenfranchise thousands of Native American voters, essentially assuring a loss by Democratic Incumbent Senator Heidi Heitkamp.
