Leslie is joined by Scott Paul, President of the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a partnership established by some of America’s leading manufacturers and the United Steelworkers union.

Scott uses his expertise to breakdown the implications of the $200 billion dollars in new tariffs on Chinese imports. He also explains how fixing America's severely imbalanced trade relationship with China is a clear non-partisan issue.

Scott also details how tariffs, even if they are successful, really only stop the bleeding. He then goes on to explain what would help to create high-wage jobs in the U.S., which is highlighted in the Century Foundation's new federal agenda.
