The pair discuss how President Trump touts a policy of economic populism, defending regular people and fighting back against financial elites, yet every policy he's enacted directly conflicts with that position.

Pivoting to a major political issue of the day, the second segment features Rep. Congressman Ro Khanna. He represents California's 17th congressional district, including Silicon Valley. His focus is to create proposals for jobs in areas left behind and tax credits for the working class.

They break down the conflicts of interest at the U.S. - Mexico border in detaining families, and immigrant separations. Some facilities in use are run by for-profit corporations, and how this dangerous system promotes the detainment and internment of hopeful American immigrants.
