  • State of Belief 03-03-2018
On the next State of Belief Radio, we’ll be in New York City talking with Rabbi Irwin Kula, President of Clal. Amid a surge of anti-Semitic attacks and rhetoric, how are Jewish leaders helping calm the waters – and ensure safety for all?
Also, the Rev. Elder Pat Bumgardner. How has her ministry and activism on behalf of LGBTQ persons of faith been altered by the kinds of changes we’ve seen in our culture – and our government’s priorities?
And Rabbi Abby Jacobson, president of Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma. We’ll get a briefing about the challenges to true religious freedom the organization is fighting against every day.

In the second half, my 2012 interview with Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan on his book, A MINDFUL NATION: How a Simple Practice Can Help Us Reduce Stress, Improve Performance, and Recapture the American Spirit. Ryan, a Rust Belt moderate hosts a mindfulness group for legislators of both parties.
