Leeann Foster leads the USW Paper Bargaining program along with Vice President Jon Geenen and oversees the Women of Steel Leadership Development Program. She chairs bargaining for three paper councils. Foster is also the Acting Chair of the IndustriALL Global Union Paper Sector Working Group.

To fund her education, Foster worked in the USW paper sector at Longview Fiber Company (now Kapstone) in Cedar Rapids, IA where her father was an officer and is now a retired 45-year member of USW Local 11-436.
