Thank you Alex for sharing your story. I don't throw the word inspiration around ever but this is an inspirational story that you need to hear. A couple days ago it was a year to the day that Alex's life was turned upside down when playing a gig. He plays bass guitar, lead guitar and drums for various bands. Whilst playing drums for a Korn tribute band he suffered a stroke around 2 minutes into a song, finished the song (SAVAGE) and then collapsed and taken to hospital afterwards. 1 year later I caught up with him and discussed the incident, current situation, how it's affected his perspective on life. Just had a bit of a rant on my walk to the ducks on Bank Holiday Monday evening. Took a couple beers because there are no rules anymore...Talking about my plan for tomorrow with training largely depending on how my legs feel after the previous days, talking about why I don't like binging TV shows but what the fuck else do you do these days?!
