Prompt Queens

Emily went to Switzerland on vacation recently so we decided to choose it as a prompt.

This episode is packed with value. Why? Well, you get the prompt, you get two play arounds like us writing songs to the prompt...AND you get a brand new turn of phrase to incorporate into your daily life and what's not to love about that?

Hot Dog City.

It's a brick and mortar book shop that is surprisingly busy for 2026 and the in-store Starbucks probably won't take your gift card. So we wrote about it.

Our prompt for this week is a songwriter you may never have heard of. His name is Rich Mullins. He was a songwriter who died back in the 90s but before then, wrote Christian Contemporary Music and then went out on his own to write the real kinds of songs that felt more like him and we dive into his work, talk about his unique writer's voice and send a couple up in thanksgiving for what he did.

You know you want a third installment of the hit movie/musical, "Grease," so you're welcome, we started working on it ourselves.

TUne in to find out which directions we both took in tackling the franchise in our very own ways. And then you get to working on all the different numbers that still need written. WE can make Grease 3 a reality. Together.
