Winter? In October? No, it's not The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Prose and Bros are tasting Southern Tier's "Old Man Winter." We go into the history of this expanding brewery while also discussing one of America's favorite modernist poets e.e. cummings. Pairing the beer with "McSorley's" we'll see if Taylor likes modernist poetry as much as Dill likes winter lagers, and why there is still a debate as to whether the E's in E.E. Cummings should be capitalized.

This week the Prose and Bros boys go exploring! To Hellertown, for a Lost Tavern brew that got them out of the house and into the tap room. Well, socially distanced outside that is. They pair their beer with a nice helping of Percy Shelly's "Ozymandias" and it is as imposing as it sounds!

This week Prose and Bros goes modern...1850's modern. While we sample Armada Brewing's "Savage Queen" and discuss how can's can drive sales, we also dive into the impact of an emperor on the city of Paris. From this little bit of history we take a look at Charles Baudelaire the "Father of Modernism" and look at his poem "Get Drunk!"
