Pete Baker has 11 R2R HMOs in his Portfolio right now. These have been acquired over 1.5 years, and it can take 6 months to make a profit from a single R2R. It's not an insta-money-making-scheme like sometimes it's thought of. It can get you out of work, for sure, but it will take longer and cost more than you think.

Be prepared, it's a business like no other. Pete worked in Sales for a long time, before realising his real passion and also that he is unmanageble because he needs to be doing his own thing. He partnered with his Manager, no less! Him & Ash are in business together (BakerWalia) and they are aiming to double their R2R portfolio by July 2019. Quite a goal right?

They don't own these properties and spend between £2-4k per one on the refurb etc, long-term relationships and high quality are priorities for them - they may spend extra, but it's all about delivering exceptional products and a brand.
