He will cover you with his feathers,

And under his wings you will find refuge;

His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

 

Wings means under one’s protection.

A rampart is a defensive wall around a castle or city.

Not only does God keep us under his protection,

He provides a wall to shield us.

Today’s prayer comes from Psalm 91:3

Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from deadly pestilence.

 

A fowler is someone who traps birds.

A snare is the fowler’s trap.

Pestilence is a deadly disease that affects a whole community.

God will not only save us, but protect us as well.

How often do you feel overwhelmed by a problem? And do you often dread something that turns out to be a non-issue? I have. At many times When I take a leap of faith, I still have to leap. And that leap can be scary. I know God will make my landing stick, but I dread making that leap.

God has already planned your path. Listen to Him so He can speak to you. Show your trust and faith in God today by doing what He has put into your heart.

It’s not wrong to ask God to repay those that wrong you. Proverbs 26:27 “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.” In other words, what goes around, comes around.

 

It’s easy to let anger take over and take revenge. But I’m telling you, let that hate go. Hate and anger will only kill you on the inside. Soon you’re always trying to get even. Let all of that go and give it to God.

 

That bully from work, the troubling neighbor, that lying so-and-so, give it all to God and He will take care of it all. Their deeds will be repaid and you will be saved from your situation

“Judge” has almost become a bad word these days. Nobody wants to hear it and everyone is quick to say they never do it. And some people really need it.

 

To judge means to punish or condemn. Chances are, we’re going to meet some bad people in this life. However, that doesn’t mean that we have the right to punish them for their sins. Only God can do that. It might look cool in the movies, but we are not vigilantes, we are children of God.
