On this episode Will and Dalton sit down and talk about why empowering people takes time. We are all about empowering people to take control of their health. But sometimes getting to this point takes time. As clinicians this may mean more frequent touch points early on in a clients plan are necessary to work on build trust and the appropriate skills.
During this conversation we highlight why its important to not rush empowering others, why we shouldn't place our value as clinicians on how many times we see someone, and how we identify when people are ready to take their health into their own hands. We hope you enjoy this episode.

On this episode Will and Dalton sit down to discuss why branding is more than just a sweet looking logo. Now, don't get us wrong. We are all about the brand looking good. But, we just think it isn't the most important thing that defines branding. Wether you are a business or an individual clinician working within a business branding is important.
During this conversation we talk about how we view branding, the steps we took to develop brand we have at The Movement, and why we think this can be important for your career as a clinician.
We have to give a shoutout the branding queen herself Shante Cofield. We have learned a ton from her around this topic and reccommend giving her a follow if you are already aren't. You can also catch her on episode 096 and 138 of the ptcoffeecast.

On this episode Will and Dalton sit down and discuss what they should be at the foundation of a clinicians skillset. We aren't saying that learning new skills or taking courses is bad. But, we do believe that you already possess the skills you need to build a solid foundation as a clinician. They just need to be identified and practiced.
During this episode we talk about the micro and macro approach we take to our initial assessments. We think it is important for all of you to think about what the actual purpose of the initial assessment is. What do you want to get out of it? What should we be getting out of it!

On this episode Will and Dalton sit down and discuss a client case in which perfectionism may have hindered client growth. This isn't to say perfectionism is bad. There are a lot of positives that come out of this archetype. But, too much of anything can end up hindering development.
As clinicians it is on us to be able to identify and manage these clients so they can have the greatest possibility of success.
During this conversation we share our thoughts on how to identify and potentially manage a client who may be hindering themselves by focusing too much on being perfect.

On this episode Will and Dalton sit down and talk about why getting client commitment is not always about "what more" you can do for this person. When it comes to commiting to anything in this world we want this choice to be as risk free as possible.
This also goes for committing to a plan of care. We are often focused on communicating to clients all the great things we have to offer to solve their problems. Which is great. But is this doing anything to address the risks that are going through their mind? Do you even know what these risks are?
During this conversation we talk about the importance of identifying and addressing client risk to get commitment. We hope you enjoy!
