If you're a woman over 40, there's a good chance you saw the recent NY Times piece entitled Puberty for the Middle Aged. In it, writer Lisa Selin Davis compares peri-menopause to puberty in a way that has women talking, sharing and tweezing their facial hair.

I invited Lisa onto the show to discuss the piece and why it resonates so strongly with women in midlife. What I didn't expect was the story behind the story where Lisa was badgered (and ultimately ostracized) by a community of her peers.
