Vigil in Oklahoma City to honor victims of mass murder at Pulse, a LGBT bar in Orlando, Florida. 600 people attended, according to Freedom Oklahoma, which organized the event. For more info, visit OklahomaActivist.com.
Troy Stevenson, the director of Freedom Oklahoma and emcee of the event said the reaction to the voices from OKC demonstrated how connected we all are.
“I think it is amazing that the message of community leaders, clergy, and the LGBTQ community is spreading around the world. This was not just an attack on Orlando, or on the United States. It was an attack on LGBTQ folks everywhere. It was an attack on humanity as a whole. And this message of solidarity speaks to the shared humanity of all people.”

After the vigil, the crowd marched west on 39th Street to Angles, a gay club and held another rally. I wasn’t there, but here are videos of that event, courtesty of Youtube user Waken The Enchantress
