Have your favorite Podcasts gone on holiday break and left you alone in a PoHole? We are here for you, well no. We are also on holiday break, but, We’ve used that time to bring you some of our favorite moments from some of the great conversations we’ve share with some great folks in and around our network. Our goal is long form conversation that creates empathy and understanding.
Devi is an informed educated disabled voice of reason in our network and would love to join for the big topics. They have helped me with gender understanding, pronouns, CSA, sex work advocacy, and of course as everyone in our network, humanism. In this clip we talk about all of that as it relates to being in a relationship. Devi is one of my favorite guests, correspondence, and friends so please enjoy
Our next clip is a very special clip from a now dead podcast from Texas. Mari joined Joe and I to allow us to get to now her and I’ve loved this episode since. Mari creates and performs, choir ensembles and advocacy by combining poems of oppression and tones of beauty. Mari is also a strong proponent of transgender rights and understanding. Here she offers us a quick list of do’s and don’ts in verbiage before discussing the joy she finds in her work.
We end on a clip that when you first start listening doesn’t seem to fit. Katelyn, Why, and Brittney from our very own Inspirations Beyond Disabilities host one of my favorite folks on the planet. Daisy is visually impaired yes, but has more vision and comfortableness with everything they advocate for. They are simply them, and I adore that. With a giant smile, and a sureness in direction, folks like Daisy will take over the world. I hope. The group discusses pronouns, race, fluidity in gender, and a lot more. I’m just so proud of them, and consider myself lucky to have them all as friends.
So. Thank you for listening. You are a very wise person and fan. You already know, but for new friends I want to say. Our content is not always for you to identify with but more for us all to hear. It’s meant to be a safe place for conversation, No judgement, no prejudice, no hate. People deserve, each individual, the freedom to be. The freedom to live, and the freedoms to do that in the best way possible for them. If we were all like you, you wouldn’t be unique and so we encourage promote, and seek out perspectives that further that conversation. Now that you’ve heard, you’ve learned, Or you’ve heard and related but hope to hear a follow up expansion. We are looking for you. Thank you again. You are very cool.
