Another week of the Canucks scoring a lot of goals, all while Milan Lucic makes a name for himself for all the wrong reasons.
P Mac, Ryan and a returning Geeta gather this week to discuss an impressive week for the Vancouver Canucks. Production from all four lines but injuries slowly begin to mount. Can the Canucks weather the storm and continue to compete in a rather injured western conference?
Dave skypes in from Ottawa to talk about Milan Lucic who's about to serve a two game suspension for a random act of violence on Kole Sherwood. Lucic's skill and abilities are declining at a rapid rate, is there still a spot in the game for a player like Lucic? Or has it completely passed him by?
They discuss which coach will be fired first. Which 'win now' team is running out of patience? There's several candidates who are on the hot seat right now to say the least.
The gang also talks about the surprising Arizona Coyotes, Jason Spezza's treatment in Toronto and answer some great listener questions.

The Vancouver Canucks LOVE 5-1 leads. They're all about 5-1 leads.
P Mac and Ryan gather at Ryan's West End studio apartment to discuss an eventful weekend of hockey in Vancouver. They discuss the bitter taste in the mouths of fans and players following the Canucks' blown 5-1 lead against Washington, and how they responded to that blown lead with a dominant performance against Florida on Monday.
A familiar voice from the PON extended family phones in. PON's absentee stepfather Jeff joins the pod after a chance encounter at the Costco Restaurant and shares his thoughts on the Canucks' big win over the Panthers, a game all three were in attendance for.
P Mac and Ryan also discuss the incredible and always growing list of injuries in the NHL. With some key injuries to the top line in Colorado, there could be some BIG points for western conference fringe teams to earn that could have a huge impact in the race for the playoffs.
They also talk about the "super soft" Toronto Maple Leafs and Alex Ovechkin's brutally honest comments about the Toronto club struggling in John Tavares' absence. Is Mike Babcock on the hot seat? The gentlemen discuss as well as answer some great listener questions.

As the nation votes, the whole gang gathers at the palatial estate to talk hockey and election results.
Ryan, P Mac, Geeta and a Skyped in Dave chat about the Vancouver Canucks this week who are fresh off a big comeback win against the St. Louis Blues and a nail biter in Madison Square Garden vs the exciting Rangers. They discuss just how solid of a goaltending duo Markstrom and Demko have become and how few goals the Canucks have given up in this young season.
They also discuss the Dallas Stars' slow start, how likely a coach firing could be and how personally affected the Stars' were by tornados in the area.
They chat about John Tavares' broken finger, the incredible amount distance travelled by the sluggish Philadelphia Flyers to start the season, the Utica Comets' hot start and the impressive point production from Goldobin and Baertschi and answer some great listener questions.

Ryan and P Mac gather for a Thanksgiving matinee podcast this week to discuss the Vancouver Canucks' success during their first homestand of the season. After a couple line juggles, the team is scoring goals and looking good as they shake off their sluggish Alberta road trip.
They touch on their thoughts on the new alternate Canucks jerseys and the outcry by fans on the polarizing uniform as well as the grassroots movement to bring back 'Holiday' as the Canucks' goal song. They also discuss real news, like Jacob Markstrom leaving the team to tend to a personal matter and Thatcher Demko getting his first start of the season Tuesday.
They also discuss James Neal's incredibly hot start to this young season. The Oilers' are definitely playing some Dave Tippett hockey in their 5-0 start of the season. The only difference this year is, Dave Tippett never had two dynamic forwards like McDavid and Draisaitl on his teams in the past.
They discuss the San Jose Sharks' signing Patrick Marleau, shaking off their 0-4 start and spend another segment this week marvelling over how good the Colorado Avalanche look so far.

Ryan and Paul get together for this month's Patreon exclusive podcast to discuss the Canucks' home opener, Bo Horvat being named captain, Loui Eriksson's future with the Canucks and answer some great listener questions.
After a sluggish start to the NHL regular season, the Vancouver Canucks come home, plan to get a captain and hopefully score some goals!
Ryan, Geeta and P Mac hunker down at the palatial estate this week to breakdown a rather underwhelming start of the season for the Canucks. From the questionable line choices, far too many too many men penalties and an ice cold power play, it's almost been expected after a tough preseason with injuries and contract holdouts, and that was just Brock Boeser!
They also discuss the big San Jose Sharks / Vegas Golden Knights rivalry that continues to bubble over after a rough and tumble home at home series that began the season. What can we look forward to in their next game (November 21st)? What will Evander Kane have to say to Ryan Reaves after some subtle digs in the media following Kane's suspension?
The gang also chats about the other big rivalry in the western conference, Matthew Tkachuk and Drew Doughty as they gear up to face each other this week for the first time this season. Much like Kane and Reaves, there has been quite a few comments made in the media, making this game must see TV.
Finally, they answer some great listener questions, talk about the New York Rangers' early success and talk about the injury problems in Pittsburgh!

They break down this years 'PON Ten', the ten teams to keep an eye on this upcoming season. Why should you keep an eye on the New Jersey Devils or Winnipeg Jets? They'll tell you why!
They also touch on Dustin Byfuglien taking his time to decide on his next career move, talk about Auston Matthews' questionable summer and the rather dull RFA stalemate we all had to wait through this summer.

The fantasy draft will take place on Sunday, September 29th at 4pm PST (7pm EST)
It will be on a first come, first serve basis. We will give priority to our Patreon backers. If you pledge $5 or more each month to Pucks On Net on Patreon, you will be given first priority.

A full bench, together again for the first time in over a year!
Ryan, Geeta, P Mac and Dave gather at the palatial estate to discuss their summers and an eventful NHL offseason.
They weigh on in the James Neal/Milan Lucic trade and if there is some sort of winner in this deal, and just why it was made in the first place?
They also talk Canucks, the strangely large list of remaining restricted free agents, Brock Boeser's towel troll and just what the hell is going to happen with Mitch Marner.
They also discuss embarrassing concerts they've been to, Ryan's come of age tale at a Gob concert and what could have been.
Dave also shares a big update and they gang generally just has a great evening together!
Enjoy!
