First, the trial of Derek Chauvin, the officer charged with the murder of George Floyd, is under way. Due to this case’s publicity, the jury selection process has been difficult. Ashley discusses whether Chauvin could be acquitted or found guilty, and whether or not the court of public opinion could sway the decision. Second, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo now faces seven sexual harassment allegations. Given that over 140 elected officials have called for him to resign, Ashley talks about the question of his resignation. Next, Ashley explains her belief that Kentucky State Republicans have violated the First Amendment in a recent bill that has passed through the Kentucky State Senate. Finally, Ashley briefly explains the crisis at our southern border.
