As Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah) attempts to reconcile herself with her testimony about the incident at the carousel; her quest to find out who the Pilgrim is hits a problem as, like Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), no records exist of his identity.

Meanwhile, Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) cuts his relationship with Dr Dumont (Floriana Lima) short as he and his group of veterans prepare to rob a payday loan business.

However, Curtis Hoyle (Jason R. Moore) , Madani and Frank find out about the plan after tracking and interrogating the meth addicted Jake Nelson (Jordan Dean). But while Frank and Curtis go after Billy, Madani, still unsettled by the brutality of the interrogation, calls for backup in the shape of Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney (Royce Johnson).

Outside the payday loan business, Frank confronts Russo and his gang wearing the stuff of nightmares!
