Doubt. It can be a dirty word within a local church community. Doubt can imply weakness or little faith. And no one wants to be weak. No one wants to be accused of little faith. So, what happens when someone has doubts? Sadly, sometimes the fear of vulnerability or the arrogance of self-reliance leads to leaving. And doubt never gets to be addressed, and the cycle goes on.
