And that's a wrap on this amazing first season with Ep 1x10, "Aftermath." Last week's street fight had some deadly consequences. When last we saw Donna, she was barely hanging on and Ben made the decision to pull Decker in to help save her life. Things don't work out and Ryn's sister slips away. With the prospect of never hearing her song again, Decker takes his own life. This puts Ryn and Maddie on notice that the former's Siren song can be deadly for  the one who falls under her thrall. Ben. Elsewhere, things are not going so well for Dale or Xander. With the crime in small Bristol Cove, it seems that Dale's job may be on the line.

First, we get the amazing news that the show has been renewed for season two. Then they deliver a kickass finale to show exactly why that renewal was much deserved. Ep 1x10, "The Phantom Zone," takes us on one helluva ride as Seg and company take a final stand against Brainiac. Lyta returns to the Sagitari to ready the fleeing troops. Seg tries to get as many Kandorians away before the city ends up among Brainiac's collection. Nyssa is on her own mission to preserve the future of her line with Seg.

General Zod talked Lyta into going behind Seg and Jayna's backs to unleash Doomsday. Thankfully, there was already a contingency plan in place. As it turns out, Seg isn't the only one with a surprise reveal up his sleeve. When questioned about how he expects to open the entrance to Doomsday's cell without Seg's blood, General Zod reveals the fact that Seg is his father.

We recently had the chance to chat with rising star, Andrea Bordeaux. She currently stars in NCIS: Los Angeles and her previous credits include Bones, Rizzoli & Isles, and Criminal Minds. Hit play and listen in as Andrea talks about her process and taking on the role of Special Agent Harley Hidoko.  The actress joined the CBS drama in its 9th season and hit the ground running, melding perfectly with the characters and relationships that had years to cement. She talks about the challenges of the role and things she's learned from some of the show's veteran actors. Andrea drops some major wisdom about taking chances and missed opportunities. Despite the danger of discovery, she shows up at the wake and corners Xander with an apology and the fact that his best friend has been lying to him about her existence.
