The 2024 PWHL Draft is fast approaching and even more its taking place right here in Minnesota as we welcome the shining stars of future to the State of Hockey & Champions

With the PWHl now finally back in action after the break for the Iternational Championships the stakes couldn't be more higher with playoff implications now in full swing

For our PWHL Minnesota it couldn't have been more simple all we need to do to punch our ticket is to get one point from our remaining games however as the month of April proved that's easier said than done

I'm still not happy that our PWHL Minnesota got left out of the PWHL Takeover Weekend but that can't ruin what was an outstanding month of hockey which came at exactly the right time

Despite not getting the full points in two of their games the month of March was a success as the team did not lose a single game including a heart attacker against Montreal which nearly had me going

The first ever trade deadline in the PWHL is now firmly in the books and with only six teams and not everyone needing to make a splash we didn't get much action but the big takeaways is Ottawa trying to compete while New York are hedging their bets

I'm beyond excited for her and will be keeping an eye out fo her character when I go to see it when Disney Pixar's Inside Out 2 is released in cinemas from June 14th

I'm literally like a kid in the chocolate section at the local supermarket following the exciting announcement of the PWHL's Gold Plan which will allow the teams out of the playoffs a chance to earn the first overall pick in the draft

It's official the PWHL will hold a playoff tournment with the top 4 all qualifying but there is a massive prize on offer for the team that finishes first overall in the league standings and their are pros and cons to whoever they choose

With Taylor Heise suffering a nasty injury in the last game of the Rivalry Series the month of February gave PWHL Minnesota its first taste of adversity in only its second month of existence

The last game of the month though provided plenty of nostalga for a lot of the members of our roster as it was held on neutral grounds at the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers
