With Taylor Heise suffering a nasty injury in the last game of the Rivalry Series the month of February gave PWHL Minnesota its first taste of adversity in only its second month of existence

The last game of the month though provided plenty of nostalga for a lot of the members of our roster as it was held on neutral grounds at the home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers

There's excitment in the air as on the weekend of the 16-17th March the PWHL will takeover the homes of the Detroit Red WIngs and Pittsburgh Penguins however my bubble bursted when I discovered my PWHL Minnesota are to be left out alongside PWHL New York

The stars were aligned for NHL All Star Thursday in Toronto as the PWHL showed how you put on an all star game without it going lopsided as both sides showed promise including the five stars chosen to represent our PWHL Minnesota

The puck has finally dropped on the PWHL and I don't think anyone was expecting the almighty start that Minnesota had which saw them end the first month top of the league
