So, while I love talking about life and hearts and souls, I also LOVE talking business. One topic that I this is so important is to me is delegation. When people ask me how I’m able to do what I do, my answer is always “I have a lot of help”.
But getting started in this process of bringing someone to work for you can be flipping terrifying. I made my first hire at 24 for my real estate team, and I was completely clueless. Since then I’ve learned a lot, so as I was thinking about how to share about my passion for delegation, this ‘1st hire’ thing came to me because it’s not just for solopreneurs building a business. This is also for the stay at home parent who is drowning coordinating all the activities, housework, errands and life in general, and it’s also for the corporate exec who has hired so many people but maybe is in a rut of how to identify a new role or new way of finding talent.
Today I want to inspire you to think about the obstacles holding you back from making a hire, work through the questions and exercises I mention, and find one way to take action towards getting the help you need.
