Nothing releases the power of the Holy Spirit in your life like a life of obedience. Galatians 5:16 says, “So I say, live by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.” The more you obey, the more you welcome the Holy Spirit to fill and control your life.

The Holy Spirit gives us a personality makeover.  Galatians 5:22 says, When the Holy Spirit controls our lives He produces this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are qualities that we all want to control our lives and transform our personalities.

None of us were designed to go it alone. Fifty-nine times the phrase “one another” is used in the New Testament. We need one another's prayers and encouragement. Paul writes in Philippians 4: 6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Peace is activated when our prayers move from general to specific and that’s a move toward experiencing God’s peace.
