As a brief break from our themed weeks leading up to the NFL season, Will Brinson is joined by Ryan Wilson to break down all the news happenings we've missed. First, the guys offer their thoughts on Earl Thomas being let go by the Ravens over the weekend (9:45). Is Baltimore better off without him? What's the most likely landing spot? The league has to be encouraged by recent testing results for COVID-19 (0 positive tests out of 58,397 administered between 8/12-8/20), but Sean McDermott isn't thrilled about the way the league is handling a related policy (20:15). Budda Baker will now become the highest-paid safety in the NFL (33:45). What does the deal mean for the Cardinals and the DB market? The newsworthy offseason continues for Washington (39:00) as Ron Rivera is battling cancer, the team hired its first Black president and Alex Smith is back competing. Brinson and Wilson break it all down. Finally, they cover the relevant injuries and contract disputes that we've seen in recent weeks (50:45).
