You’re both under the same roof sharing an airbnb together. One night you have a couple drinks and start reminiscing. Kailey writes "Our 8 year old boy has been having swim lessons. There are 3 changing room options. The male and female are completely open plan. The family changing room has 4 cubicles (and states no changing in the open).The question I have is if I take him to the pool where should he change?There is no way he should be in the female changing room. He is too old for that.He is VERY uncomfortable in the male changing room. Dad took him in once and it was full of adult men walking around naked after their sauna at the time of his lesson. He does not want to get naked around strange adult men, especially if dad isn't there to hold a towel or something.The family changing room seems like the best option, but 5 minutes before his class ends, other classes finish up We waited 25 minutes with him shivering in his damp towel for a changing cubicle the other day.Dad is not always available to take him to class but when I take him im at a loss of what I should do. I have spoken to some of the instructors and employees at this gym and have not received help from anyone. I actually had someone say I can change him in the car.Any pro tips from swim parents out there that have any advice? Thanks so much."
