Your host Andy, Ant and the husk of Dun don't really talk about QPR vs Ipswich as it was the most insignificant part of Saturday.
Saturday was Go Purple For Lily Day.
...and we had a very special guest on the day. Lily.
It was an emotional and crazy day. Sadly, Andy couldn't make it, but Dun and Ant were there are we cover off what it was like to be there on the day. The love and generosity was off the charts, there was media - we spoke with CBS Sports and Fox 5 news , there was a lot of QPR NYC fans, old and new and we met our new friends from our supporting clubs. We thank everyone who helped us and talk about what a wonderful club we support, because the people who work from the club are wonderful.
Ant reveals the final total of our t-shirt campaign, and we have some other things to reveal of activity in November
We are so proud to have brought the New York City Supporter community together and we talk about that too.
Looking ahead to Southampton and Swansea, there are predictions and Ant's Kit Korner. We remember some lads, and an old friend pops up.
Jacob dedicates a lovely Stanza to Lily and amongst all of the lovely stuff, we shout out the amazing Marti Wells, the force of nature who kicked off Lily's Go Fund Me. We were so lucky to meet her on Saturday and it was a pleasure.
Thank you for listening, still time to donate. Check out @qprnewyorkcity on Instagram - links in our bio
Early start this week for your host Andy, Ant and Dunstan (We're calling him by the name him mum uses when she's mad at him, Dunstan this week...)
Why is that exactly?
Because thanks to QPR and the media team, this week we are joined by a very special guest.
QPR captain, Republic of Ireland International and QPR NYC t-shirt model JIMMY DUNNE!
Yes, you read that right - the actual JIMMY DUNNE!
We're not going to give away the content of the podcast his week, but we're not asking him about tactics, or in depth analysis of the Derby game.
Jimmy is kind enough to talk to us about his favorite players, approach to captaincy, the ethos of the club, NYC, Music, his favorite QPR kits, a swap deal in the making and we reveal some breaking news about Jimmy's future!
You may not normally listen to us, but trust me when I tell you this is really worth listening to.
A huge thank you to Jimmy for his time and the club for arranging.
Important notice: Saturday 1st November
QPR vs Ipswich: Go Purple For Lily day at The Football Factory
Look out for the signage in the stadium, programme notes and our Go Purple for Lily flag in the Loft end thanks to our friends at Loft Flags.
Don't forget to wear your Purple QPR NYC t-shirts on Saturday
We also look forward to welcoming Don Shanks to The Football Factory to watch the game with us on Saturday and wish him the best for his New York Marathon run on Sunday 2nd November. Don is running on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society - please donate generously!
