The NGO WildTrust has launched a new awareness campaign titled On the Brink which aims to bring under the spotlight, issues relating to sanctuary areas that protect sharks and rays which are some of the most endangered species.

The Canning Fruit Producers’ Association is concerned about the closure of Tiger Brands’ Langeberg and Ashton canning factory in the Western Cape, saying it spells disaster for producers and other stakeholders.
