Yesterday marked 500 days since South African went into a national lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The pandemic further exacerbated social ills in the country; with many people losing jobs, businesses, loved ones and becoming even poorer. Frontline workers also experienced mental health struggles, fatigue - due to the long and arduous working workers, amid the pandemic. Others doctors have been verbally and physically abused by patients during the pandemic.
