Queen Things

The queens are showing out and the men are out here embarrassing themselves.

This week we're looking at how women are running the culture, from Taylor's songwriting to Beyoncé's breadcrumbs, Gaga x Doechii, and more.

Plus, how Meg deserves so much better, and Amanda seems determined to earn every bit of hate coming her way.

Let's talk about it.

West Wilson got on his podcast and said absolutely nothing. Ciara got a Glamour cover and said everything. And somewhere in between all of that, I read a Substack article about Ozempic that made me want to talk about weight, morality, and why we feel so comfortable judging people's bodies. Let's get into it.

Justin Bieber headlined Coachella in rain boots and a hoodie for 90 minutes. The internet loved it. I had questions. And Bieber wasn't the only one getting some side-eye this year.

Plus the Alex Cooper situation - let’s get into it.

We're all going back and rewatching Amanda Batula — and the benefit of the doubt? Gone.

Also, a woman found her boyfriend's ChatGPT history and it ended everything. I have thoughts, I have feelings, and I do not have a conclusion. Come be confused with me.

Also this week: Jay-Z may have just accidentally revealed what's on Beyoncé's Act Three setlist. The Beyhive is paying close attention.

This week, I’m breaking down why that halftime show felt so joyful, and why some people seemed determined to hate it.

Then we pivot to Taylor Swift’s new Opalite video and the op-ed calling her art “boring” and overly self-mythologizing…
