Queens' Pitch CLT

Charlotte FC is back after a long three week break and so are the Queens, as the Crown drew the New York Red Bulls 1-1 at the Fortress. In the matchup, the summer transfer window's results were on first display as Tim Ream and Pep Biel took to the pitch, and one of these might be in favor or could incur a wrath? Where do you judge?

MLS season is on pause, and Leagues Cup is up! In match 1, Charlotte FC revisit Philly making a contender for the worst game of the season in a 1-0 loss. In match 2, the Crown returns to the Fortress to face Liga MX leaders Cruz Azul in a wild night with shocking choices, a dogfight, and a win in a penalty shootout.
The queens revisit both matches and wonder if it was enough to keep the Leagues Cup hopes barely alive.

Double header episode as the queens review Charlotte FC's recent matches drawing Orlando at home and a winner in Philly, courtesy of a Patrick Agyemang brace. Who impressed and who made a mess? (And can we really be too critical since the Crown are so high in the table mid-year for the first time in history?)

The Crown is able to rack up another win and clean sheet in the Fortress against DC United and pit the solo star power of Benteke against the fearsome back five, namely the masterclass that is Adilson Malanda. The queens discuss the refereeing decisions (is it a handball?) and what went right or wrong for Charlotte FC. Weigh in with us through Fan Mail!
