Queen Vanessa Kenney (@nessapies) landed her spaceship (yes, the thrusters were made of rainbow) and chat with Q2Q about Curiousifi's upcoming benefit show, "Transcendence." We gotta make that money, honey, or positive change for Queer people in the South is going to snail along even slower.

Their show is a multi-media theatre event (say wut!? Don't worry, Collin asks.) with people performing, reading poetry, and sometimes just telling stories. It's all sci-fi. It's all trans-positive. You won't wanna miss it! All proceeds support "House of Rebirth," which is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting struggling trans black women in Texas.

While they live on opposite sides of the country, these pals prioritize collaborations and contact whenever they can, flying from one end of the rainbow to the other for shared work on music videos, alcoholic beverages, fashion fabulousness, and much more! Between the two of them, they direct, write, edit, act, perform drag excellence, break through gender stereotypes, and pioneer the art of other queers and allies. There's really nothing these care cubs can't do.

DIE ANOTHER PLAY! This is the second in our series called "Why it didn't" where Collin (@squidlegs) talks critically about a film that had a few (or more than a few) perceived issues. James Bond was one of the first "adult" characters Collin became a fan of, and he always loved discussing with his dad (also a fan) how the series has varied over the years. Pierce Brosnan's tenure often gets overlooked or overly shamed without recognizing what made it significant. The truth is, there's a lot to love, even in a goofy outing like "Madonn-other Day!"
