(23:10-39:37) – Purdue volleyball and Pro Federation volleyball All-Star coach, Dave Shondell, joins Query & Company to illustrate the growth of volleyball since his father became the first ever Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association president. Additionally, he comments on how neat it will be to coaching some of the best volleyball players in the world, explains the importance of a libero, and explains how the game of volleyball has evolved.
(39:37-45:05) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake revealing which candidate he thinks makes the most sense for the IU to replace Mike Woodson.
(45:05-1:10:11) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Query & Company to discuss Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show during the Super Bowl and explains what the legal tampering period is with it starting in a month. Also, Stephen assesses if the Philadelphia Eagles broke the Kansas City Chiefs with the way they bullied them and reacts to some of the teams that Jake has placed futures bets on to win the Super Bowl and his over/under for games started next season for Aaron Rodgers.
(1:10:11-1:22:47) – Purdue’s radio analyst, Bobby Riddell, joins Jake Query to preview tonight’s game for the Boilermakers in Ann Arbor against the Michigan Wolverines. Bobby explains how important Caleb Furst has been to the defensive success for Purdue since being inserted into the starting lineup, highlights how difficult Braden Smith is to handle when he’s looking to score first instead of pass first, and touches on Trey Kaufman-Renn’s development over the course of the season.
(1:22:47-1:29:36) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the fallout of the Pacers signing Alex Len and pivoting to signing Jahlil Okafor to a ten-day contract yesterday.
(1:29:36-1:55:26) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files joins Jake Query’s conversation about how the NBA game started to change when Greg Odun’s injuries started piling up. Additionally, Scott previews tonight’s game between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers, provides a scouting report on Jahlil Okafor since he has watched him with the Mad Ants, and admits that he doesn’t foresee Okafor with the Pacers beyond this ten-day contract.
(1:55:26-2:08:46) – Earlier in the program Jake revealed who he thinks will become the next Indiana basketball head coach. He revisits a portion of his conversation with Jeff Rabjohns yesterday about the candidates for the job.
